The Genoteam club, established by students from Molecular Biology and Genetics Department of our faculty, will perform its first event on May 23th and 24th, as “Molecular Biology and Genetics Days”. Presenters having expertise at the topics of forensic genetics, structural biology, stem cell and regenerative medicine, CRISPR, HPV, virology, diagnosis and treatment methods in virology, and rare diseases have been invited to talk at this event. This event, which will be hosted at our university's Hasan Polatkan Conference Hall, is available to all of our students and faculty.
Dr. Saliha Ece Acuner will start with “Structural Biology” at 11:00 am on May 23th. At 12:40 p.m., Doç. Dr. Kaan Yılancıoğlu will continue the conversation with “Forensic Genetics”. Dr. Cihan Taştan will give a presentation on “CRISPR” in the final session of our program, at 13:40.
Prof. Dr. M. Murat Naki's “HPV” presentation will begin at 13.00 on Tuesday, May 24th. Prof. Dr. İkbal Agah İnce will continue with the presentation of "Virology, Viral Infection Diagnosis, and Treatment Methods" after Prof. Dr. Murat Naki. Dr. Tunç Akkoç's "Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine" presentation will be held on 15:00. The event will be concluded with Prof.Dr Batu Erman's "Rare Diseases" presentation.
