Our faculty member Asst. Prof. Dr. Doğay Altınel will give a seminar titled ‘The Vision of Artificial Intelligence’ on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
In this event, we will explore how artificial intelligence is not merely a collection of code, but also carries important clues about how we perceive the world and our future. We will discuss not only the speed of technology, but also the visions of the minds building it and their contrasting dreams for the future of humanity. We will bring the diverse perspectives hidden behind the closed doors of Silicon Valley to our event. Together, we will seek answers to questions such as:
Is artificial intelligence a highly advanced tool or a new form of intelligence?
An unemployment crisis or radical abundance?
Who is coding the future?
We aim to raise awareness about the vision of artificial intelligence among all participants, especially our academics and students.
