Istanbul Medeniyet University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences commits itself to produce universal knowledge and technology, to present that knowledge to the use of society, to educate pioneer scientists and engineers. Our basic mission is to support research in different fields taking into account the needs of the country and to carry them to the world scales. Hence it is aimed to prepare the necessary infrastructure, In order to encourage cooperation with industry and the universities. To strengthen the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship between our faculty members and their graduates and to provide the necessary conditions for this. Our faculty aims to bring perfectionism, innovation, responsibility towards society and ethical values to higher levels by providing a suitable learning atmosphere. To make high quality researches in priority areas for the success of our faculty and to prepare an attractive educational environment for students and academics. Its importance is to focus on interdisciplinary studies that have high impact on the literature and value added in the areas set by the public and industry. Moreover, supporting individual studies is our fundamental research vision and also to be accredited in national and international arena in education. To become a top ranking university domestically and internationally, to be unique in its technology, science and life oriented structure, and its inquisitive and innovative education programmes, to be productive and contribute to social development by producing serviceable knowledge.
