Our research assistant, Dr. Özge Tatlı has earned a highly selective honor: participation in the 2025 FEBS Young Scientists' Forum (YSF). Chosen from a global pool of applicants, Özge is one of only 100 young researchers invited to this prestigious event.
The Young Scientists' Forum (YSF) organized by the Federation of European Biochemical Societies (FEBS) brings together promising young researchers in the field of biochemistry, as it does every year. This prestigious event, held just before the FEBS Congress, hosts approximately 100 doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, mainly from FEBS member countries. YSF not only includes scientific presentations but also contributes to the development of participants through career workshops, mentoring programs, and social events. Our research assistant, Özge Tatlı, selected from among candidates applying from FEBS region countries, has won a scholarship that gives her the opportunity to participate in this important event and the 49th FEBS Congress that will follow, and to present her work. This year, the YSF, which will take place in Sapanca from July 2-5, will bring together the scientists of the future, offering them the opportunity to discuss the latest research and meet with leading figures in the field.
